- First, back up your Lass disc, using the instructions in your DOS manual.
- Then store the original. Lass.com is the only file you need to run the Little
- Assembler. Lass-1.man and Lass-2.man comprise the manual. L-Ruler.asm is
- explained in the manual.
-
- Second, print Lass-1.man and Lass-2.man. If you are not using PC-Write, read
- the note at the beginning of Lass-1.man before printing. The manual not only
- explains how to use the Little Assembler but how to write your 8088 source
- code so that the syntax will be understood by Lass.com.
-
- Third, read the manual. Repeat: read the manual.
-
- Fourth, did you read the manual ?
-
- Fifth, assemble in good health.
