  3. First,  back  up  your  Lass disc,  using the instructions in your DOS manual.  
  4. Then store the original.  Lass.com is the only file you need to run the Little 
  5. Assembler.  Lass-1.man and Lass-2.man  comprise  the  manual.  L-Ruler.asm  is 
  6. explained in the manual.  
  7.  
  8. Second,  print Lass-1.man and Lass-2.man.  If you are not using PC-Write, read 
  9. the note at the beginning of Lass-1.man before printing.  The manual not  only 
  10. explains how  to  use  the Little Assembler  but how to write your 8088 source 
  11. code so that the syntax will be understood by Lass.com.

  13. Third, read the manual.  Repeat:  read the manual.  
  14.  
  15. Fourth, did you read the manual ?
  16.  
  17. Fifth, assemble in good health.
